Regular meeting, of the ~ity Commission of the Oity of Bremerton,Washington
held on wednesday August 12, 1931 at' ten o'clock A~M., Mayor McGillivray, presiding,
Commissioner Ealverson and Oommissioner Gas&d and Oity Attorney Gorman being present
at roll call.
Clerk read minutes of the regular meeting held O~ AUgUSt 5~1931 and on motion of
Mr Casad and Mr Halverso~ same were approved as rea~, all members voting Yes.
Clerk read ordinance ~9A8 amending ordinanoe'~regulating Pawn Br~kers,
Motion by Mr MoGillivray and M~r Halverson to pass Ordinance as read, carried as
follows: M~r I~oGillivray,Xes. Mr, Halverson, Yes. Mr. Casad, Yes.
Clerk read resolution authoriming.the Mayor and 0ity ~lerk to sell Zot 46,Block 15
Original plat of Bremerton to Mrna ~. R. ~letcher for the sum of $500.00'and for.that
purpose to execute and deliver a quit claim deed~to the said property to the said Mrs
W. R. Fletcher.
Motion by Mr Casad and Mr McGillivray to pass resolution as read, carried as
Hr MoGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Oasad, Yes.
Clerk read proposed lease on certain lots on Warren Avenue now being used by the
Park Department as a playfield and same was discussed generally; no action taken.
City A~torney reported on the status of the proposed acquisition of the Electric
Light plant and advised the Commissioners to approve the budget appropriation for the
necessary expense og 'appraisal.
