held on wednesday July 27,193E a~ ten o'clock A.M., ~ayor McGilliv~ay presiding,
Commissioner Halverson and Commissioner Casad being present at roll call, the
City Attorney being absent on accottut of the death of his father.
Letter read from J. P. Dore Eayor of Seattle, and ordered filed.
Petition received from 266 resident of East Bremerton asking that a public
play-field be established there and on motion of ~f_r Halverson and ~ 0asad the
oetition was referred to the I~Iayor.
Clerk read Tractor lease agreement between the Western TTactor and Equipment
Company of Seattle and the City.
I~o~ion by lit McGillivray and I~r Oasad to approve agreement subject to approval

~ Oasad reported that residents of Pensylvania Avenue representing about 60%
of the property had signed a petition for a storm and sanitary sewer
01erk read resolution declaring the intention of the commission to construct a
sewer on Pennsylvania Avenue from the north margin of Sixth Street to center line
of eight~ street.

01erk read Ordinance { · amending ordinance ~96Z entitled an ordinance relating
~o electricians and licensing'and bonding of ~Mster Electricians, so that all persons
enoo'aging in such business for over two years may be permitted to substitute the
surety bond for a property bond, to be approved by the commission; and reducing the
penalty in any one case from $2000.00 to $100.00.
