Clerk read minu~es of regular meeting of ~e~ruary 17, 1952 and on mo~ion of
?~r. Casad and Mr McGillivray same were approved as read, all members vo~ing Yes.
Mo~ion by Mr Halverson and Mr ~cGillivray ~o allow all bills approved by a
majority of ~he Commission, carried as follows: ~r McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson,
Yes. ~ Casad, Yes.
The Commissioners discussed ~he advisabili~y of salvaging ~he old submarime
pipe line acrcsm Port Washington Narrows, and a Seattle diver who was presen~
s~ated ~ha~ he would dc ~he work for twenty cents per foot for all'pipe salvaged
in good condi~ion~and 10 cents i~ damaged. Ocmmiesioner Oasad recommended ~ha~
~his proposition be accepted, and reoommenda~ion was approved.
