Regular meeting of the City Commission of the City of Bremerton,Washington,
held on wednesday January B0, 195B et ten o'clock a.m. Mayor L~cGillivray,presidimg
Commissioner Halverson, Commismioner Cmsad and $ity Attorney Gorman being present.
Clerk read minutes of regular meeting of Jan.13,19~B and on motion cf Mr Cased
and ICr McGillivray same were approved as reed,ell members voting Yes .
Olerk read notice of easement given by County Commissioners across Lot~ 30 o~
Block 2B original plat "Oharleston". and on motion of t&r Halverson and Mr Mc
~illivray same was referred to City Attorney.
Clerk reported that seven bids had been received for truck.
Motion by Mr 0ased and Mr McGillivray to open bids carried as follows;

~ids were opened as follows: ~rom Bremerton Motor Co.,W. F. Young, Reed Chevrol
Sands Motor Co., Lamping Motor Company, ~rmitage ~ictor Company, and Fairchilds
~otor Company.
Hotion by ;'&r Halverson and lCr 0asad to refer ell bids to the Commission for

Clerk read petition from merchants in west end of City requesting that Eenneth
Cha~e be a!?pointed e special p~trol~nan for their end of the City. After some dis-
cussion the petitionwas ordered filed.
Eotion by ~ Halverson and Mr McGillivray to allow all bills approved by a
of the oo.~mi~sion, carried a~ follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. ~&r. Helverson, Yes.

City A~torney recommended ~hat costs be waived in the case of the Municipal Lea
against the City of Bremerton and others,.
Motion by I~ Halverson and Pir ~cGillivray to approve recommendation and waive
costs, carried as follows: ~ McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. D~.0asad, Yes.
