October.,28th 1933.
Regular meeting of the City Commission of the City of Bremerton,Washington,
held on saturday October 28,1933 at ten o'clock A.M.,Mayor McGllllvray,presidlng,
Commissioner Halverson, Commissioner Cased and City Attorney German,being present
at roll call.
Clerk read minutes of regular meeting held on October 21,1935 and on motion of
Mr Cased and M~ Halverson same were approved as read,all members voting Yes.
Clerk read easement from F.~.~owa~ and Light Co requesting permit to set poles
across the end of Lot 18, Block 28,Reese's First Addition.to Port 0rohard U. S.
Navy Yard.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray That the Mayor and City Clerk be
authorized to execute easement as requested, subject, however, to easement from
Mr. I. Busby who holds contract for deed from the City, carried as follows:
Mr McGillivray, Yes, Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.
Motion by Mr Halverson and. Mr McGillivray that all bills approved by a majority
of the commission be allowed; carried as followw: Mr MeGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson
Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.
Clerk r~ad letter from Mr. IsadOre Sclare tmnderlng his resignation as 0ashier of
the City as of October 31,1933, and on motion of Mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray same
was accepted.
Clerk read resolution granting to the Marine Drive Water D~mpz~t the right to
maintain, operate and repair a water main over and across Lot 40,Block B. Oyster Bay
Addition to ~rt Orchard Nav~ Yard.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray to pass resolution as read~carried as
follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.
Clerk read 0rdinan~e #1015 vacating a part of the west end of Eleventh Street and
repealing Ordinance ~1005.
Motion by Mr 0asad and Mr Halverson that Ordinance be passed as read,carried as
follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.
, Clerk read resolution establishing anc~mergency Relief Fund and directing the
City Treasurer to credit certain monies to such fund and to debit said fund with
certain amounts as set forth in resolution.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGlllivray to pass resolution ss read, carried as
follows: Mr McGlllivray, Yes, Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Cased,, Yes.
Clerk read resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor and City Clerk to sell
part
to Dave Senter for the s~m of $?5.00 m~ of lots 17 and 18 of Block 12 original town
of Charleston.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGilllvray to pass resolution as read, carried aa
follows: Mr. McGillivray, Yes. Mr.Halverson, Yes. Mr Casad, Absent.
