to street lighting rates, an~ submitting forms of neaessar2 reports;
Motion by Mr Halverson ah~ Mr Oasa~ to refer to 0ity Enginser,oaYrie~ as fellows

Motion by Mr Ralverson and Mr Oasad to allow all bills approved by a majority of
the commission, carried as follows: Mr Ralverson, Yes. Mr Oasad, Yes. Mr. Mc~ill-
ivra2 Absent.
~M Oasad reported that the proprietors of the 2uget Sound Steam ~aundry had prom-
ised to correct the condition which was producing the smoke nuisance.
~M 0asad also reported that owing tothe number of autos parked on 2aoifioe Avenue,
it was impossible for the street department employees to clean the streets in the
early morning hours, an~ the matter was referre~ to tAe Police department to enforce
prohibitory ordinance.
Mr 0asad also reporte~ that Ae ~ad submitte~ list of pro~eots for community help
to the Xitsap 0ounty ~elfare ~oar~ an~ 2oped to get a substantial appropriation from
the ten million ~ollars appropriated by the State legiSlatu~e.
