Regular meeting of the City Commission of 'the City of Bremerton,~ashington, held
on Saturday ~ ~ ~g~4 at ten'o'olo,ok A.M. Mayor McGllllvray, pres~ding, ¢o~m~ ssioner
Halvereon and Commissioner Caead being present at roll call.
Clerk read minutes of previous regular meeting and on motion of Mr casad and Mr
Halverson same were approved as read all members vgting Yes.
Clerk reported this as date set for hearing on proposed improvement of Montgomery
Avenue from the north Margin of Farragut Street to the South margin of Sixth ~tree~,
and read pro~eat from County of ~tsap ~agains~ the fo~ng o~ the L.I.Dlstrict."
Mrs Ryan who claimed to be the owner of lots ll,to 18, Xn Block 18~de oral protest
against the improvement. Several property owners asked for infor~tion which was
given by the Commissioners.
Motion by Mr MoGillivray and ~ Casad to overr~e all protests,ca, tied as follows:

Clerk read ordinance establishing L.I.Distrio~ ~1~ and providing for the levyi~
of assessments in pa~ent of the improvement of Montgomery Avenue between Farmer and
Sixth Streets by preparing for paving,altering and adjustment of sewers,providing for
drainage and paving with a one course concrete payment six inches thlch and thirty
feet wide,together with such other and further work as may be necessary to ~ke such
improvement a complete Job.

Pleat of Bran's First addition to Br~erton having been filed for approval wa~
considered by the Co~ssioners and on motion of ~ Casad an~ ~ McGlllivray was appro-
ved by the co~ission, all mambers voting Yes.
Clerk read petition from ei~t property owners requesting that ~ifth Street west of
Naval Avenue be improved; motion by ~ Halverson and ~ McGlllivray to rare= to City
~gineer for checking, carried as follows: Mr MoGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes.
Mr Casad, Yes.
City Engineer reported that petition for the improvement of ~izabeth street was
being checked.
Clerk reported that he had advertised for bids on proposed improvement of Ol~pic
Avenue and that no bids had been received.
Motion by Mr. Ha lverson and Mr McGillivray to instruct and authorize the City Engr.
to proceed with the improvement of Olympic zvenue In accordance with the plans and
specification~ by day labor, carried es follows: Mr ~cGilliv~y, Yes. Mr Halversom
Yes. Mr Casad, Yes.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr Oasad to allow all bills approved by a ~Jority of
