Regular meeting of the City Commission of the City of Bremerton,w~ashington,
held on saturday april 7, 1934 at ten o'clock ~.M. Mayor McGillivray, presiding,
Commissioner Halverson, Commissioner Casad and City ~ttorney German being present
at roll call.
Clerk read~es of the regular meeting held on t~rch S1,1934 and on motion
of ~r Halverson and gr Casad same were approved as read,all members voting Yes.
Clerk read letter from ~r. E. E. Ritoh,~elfare Commissioner,for Kitsap County,
thanking the Mayor and Commissioners for wholehearted cooperation in relief work
of the Civil ~orks ~dministration. Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr MoGlllivray to
file the letter and instruct the CitM attornev to prepare a letter to i~r Ritch and
present s~me next saturday for a~prov~l, carried as follows: ~r ~cGillivray, Yes.

Clerk repor~ad that i~ H~lverson had Droou~ed the new ~uarterly agreement on
g~soline from the Wmxas Company giving a top price. Motion by ~r Casad and Mr

Clerk renu petition signed by 48 persons requesting the Co~,missioners to declare
an arterial highway from Callow avenue through to the north city limits of East Breme ~on,
along Burwell Street, Washington avenue, The Bridge span, Winfield and Marlow Street.
Petition ordered filed.
