Regular meeting of the City Co~J~ission of the~City of Bremerton, Washington,
held on saturday February 24, 1934 at ten o'clock A.M., Mayor McGilllvray, presiding,
Co~mi~sioner Halverson, C0.~issioner Casad and City ~torney Gor~ian being pre~ent at
roll call.
Clerk read minutes of the regular meeting held on February 17, 1934 an on motion
of mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray same were appmoved as read all members voting Yes.
Clerk read resolution authorizing and directing the ~ayor and City Clerk to sell
to ~alter F.01son all of Lots ~? and 28 in Block ll, Hansen's Second addition to
Charleston,Kitsap County, ~ashington,Aon terms of ~.90.00 Cash the balance payable at
the rate of ~13.50 monthly with interest at 7% on deferred payments.
Motion by Mr ~cGillivray and Mr Halverson to pass resolution as read, carried as
follows: ~r McGilllvray, Yes. Mr. Halverson, Yes. Mr Casad, Yes.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr Casad to allow all bills approved by a majority of
the co~mmission, carried as follows: Mr. ~cGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes.

Clerk reported that he had advertised for bids on the improvement of Burwell Str~e'
as directed by the commission, and no bids had been received.
~otion by Mr Halverson and ~r Me~illivray That in view of the fact that no bids ha~
be au received on the improvement of Burwell ~treet as provided by Ordinance #1016 that
the City Engineer be instructed to proceed with the work by day labor, carried as
follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. ~r Casad, Yes.
~r Lofthus of the Lofthus Lumber Company stated to the commission that he would
be willing to take the Improvement District bonds in payment for materials to be used
in Local Improvement District #128, and was informed by the l~ayor that he should have
submitted a bid as requested.
