Regular meeting of the city commission of the City of B~emerton,Washington.
held on saturday De0.28,19~5 at ten o'clock A.M.,Mayor McGillivray, presiding;
Commissioner Halverson, Commissioner Casad and City Attorney Gor~ ~n baing present
at roll call.
Clerk read minutes of the regular meeting of Dec 21,1935 and on motion of Mr.
Halverson and Mr Casad same were approved as read, all members voting Yes.
Clerk reported that he had received five responses to his call for bids for
supply of gasoline and oil for 1936.
On motion of M~ Casad and Mr Halverson bids were opened from the following
Companies: Associated; Standard; Shell;Texas an~ Union.
Motion by NLr McGillivray and Mr Casad to refer all bids to committee of the whol~
for consid~ation, carrie~ as fOllOws: Mr McGillivray, Yes. ~A~ Halverson, Yes. Mr
YOs.
Clerk read resolution authorizing the Mayor and 01ty 0lark to sell to ArCh M, .
Shifrin all of Lot 19 in Block 15, Charleston for the sum of $400.00 on terms of
$100 down and balance in monthly payments of $25.00 each with 'interest at the rate
of
Motion by Mm Halverson and ~ir Cas~ad to pass and adopt resolution as read,carried
all members voting Yes.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr Casad to allow all bills approved by a majority of
the commission, carried as follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. ~lr Halverson, Yes. M~ Casad

The Mayor appointed Mr. Tlllman Paterson to succeed hin~elf as a mmnber of. the
Library Board and on motion of Mr Halverson and Mr Casad the .appointment was
