Regular m~eting of the City Commission of the City of Bremerton,Washington held
on saturday October 5,1935 at ten o'clock A.M., MaYgr McGillivray presiding, Mr.
Ealverson and City Attorney being present at roll call, Mr Cased arriving a few min-
utes later.
Clerk read minutes of the regular meeting held on saturday Septem~fr 28, 1955,
and on motion of Mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray same were approved as read all mem-
bers voting Yes.
Clerk reported this as date set for hearing on proposed improvement ef the alley
in Block 2, Queen Anne Addition and submitted a letter from M~ L.W.Wardleigh o~of
the interested property owners.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGlllivray~to continua hearing for one more week,
carried as follows: Mr.McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverscn, Yes. Mr Ca sad, Absent.
Clerk reported this as date of hearing on vacation of a part of Bertha Street,

Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray to continue hear~m~for one week,

Clerk read letter from the White Flyer Target Club requesti~gpermission for the
use of the old target range in Section 33 Township 24 North, Range ~ East"for the
.cee of shooting at ta~$ets on sunday of each week".
Motion by Mr Halve~son and Mr Cased to grant ~eQuest provided the Club wil comply
with the necessary sanitary conditions, carried as follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes.

~otion by Mr.Halverson and Mr Oasad to allow all bills approved by a majority cf

44 of the session laws of 1935.
Motion by Mr McGillivray and Mr Cased to lay over one week, carried as follows:

Statutory and adjourned meeting of the~City Commission of the City of Bremerton,
~ashington, held on monday October ?,1935'at ten O'clock A.M., Mayor McGillieray,
presiding; Commissioner Halverson and Commissioner Cased and City Attorney Gorman
being present at'roll call.
Clerk reported this as date set by law for adoption of proposed City Budget for
the year 1955 and stated' that no protests had bean filedor made against proposed
budget.
Clerk read ordinance ~1075 approving and adopting the financial budget of the
several departments of the City Government of the City of Bremerton for the fiscal
year 19~6 and appropriating the several sums end total amounts as set forth therein
to each of said departments as the total appropriation of said year.
Motion by Mr McGillivray and Mr Halverson to approve end adopt ordinance as read,
carried as follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. M~ Cased, Yes.
Clerk read ordinance ~1076 levying special'and general municipal taxes against all
the taxable property in the City of Bremerto~ for the year 1955, and levying special
and general municipal taxes against all taxable property within the City limits of the
City of Bremerton,prior to its c&nsolidation with the City of Charleston, for the year
1935,and approving the assessment made by the County Assessor of Kitsap County.
Motion by Mr McGillivray and Mr Cased to approve and adopt ordinance as read,
carried as follows: Mr McGlllivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.
Clerk read letter and resolution from State Department of Highways, concerning the
works program and on motion of Mr Cased and Mr McGillivray resolution was approved and
City Engineer directed to comply with the request of the Highway Department.
Mr Willis T. Bacheller submitted report of his findings as to the value of the plant
of the Puget Sound Power and Light Company in Kitsap County.
Motion by Mr McGlllivray and Mr Cased to adjourn, carried as follows: Mr McGlllivra ,
