Regular meeting of 'the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, Washington,
held on September 21, 1935 at 10:00A.M. at the Commission Chambers at the City
Hall. ~ayor ~cGillivray presiding and Mr. Halverson, Mr. Casad and City Attorney
Gorman being present at roll call.
Acting Clerk read minutes of the previous meeting and same were approved
as read by a motion by ~o Casad and Mr. Halverson. All members voting Yes.
A motion was made by ~m. Halverson and Mr. Casad that all bills approved
by a majority of the commission be paid by warrahts. All members voting Yes.
Mrs. Alida Torestensen was present at the meeting to protest the parking
of cars in front of her property on Burwell as cars made noise all night.
Acting Clerk read a resolution adopting a preliminary budget and setting
the 7th of October as the dat~ of hearing. A motion was made by Mr. Halverson
and ~r. McGillivray to pass res61ution. All members voting Yes.
Acting Clerk read resolution foreclosing for general taxes the following
described property: Lot Seven (7), Block Five (5), Warren Smith Acre Tracts,
except the East Twenty-five (25) feet for Broadway and the
West 15 feet for Chester Avenue and the South 20 feet for
street purposes of Kitsap County, Washington.
Lotion to sell this property to Gunhild Jacobsen Blanc was made by Nro Halverson
and Ur. McGillivray. All members voting Yes.
Acting Clerk read Ordinance adopting a Building Code in book form,
relating to building construction in the City of Bremerton entitled "Building
Code of the City of Bremerton, Washington, 1933". Notion to pass ordinance
made by ~r. ~cGillivray and ~r. Halverson. All members voting Yes.
Eotion to adjourn made by Mr. Halverson an~d Mr. ~cGillivray. All members
