Clerk read minutes of the p~'evious re~lar meeting and on motion of Mr Halverson
and ldr ~¥icGillivray same were approved as read, all m~bers voting Yes.
Clerk read ordinance providing for the improve~ent by paving etc. of the following
named streets: Sarts of Elizabeth and Warren Avenues, part of Broadway, parts of
Tenth,Eleventh, '~elfth,~irteenth and Fifteenth Streets and the alley from Eleventh
to ~velfth Street between Elizabeth Avenue and Warren Avenue; establishing an improve.
~ent district; providing for the levying of assessments in pavement of such improvemen
and making such improve~ent payable by bonds. (Second reading)
i~otion by l~r Casad amd I~Ir Iq[cGillivray to adopt and approve ordinance as read,
carried as follows: L~r ~icGillivray, Yes. Mr Halver~on, Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.
Clerk read ordinance pr~iding for the improvement of a part of Cogean Avenue,
l..lci(enzie ~venue and parts of Seventh, Eighth and Ninth Streets ~y paving and doing
such other and further work as may be necessary to make such improvement a complete
jo~ as provided by plans on file in Clerk's office; creating alocal improvement
district, providing for the levying of assessments in pa~ent of such impr~ements
and ~.,~aking such improvement payable by bonds. (Second reading)

Clerk read resolution of intention to improve Eleventh Street from the west margi~
of Pacific to the East Margin of Park Avenue; McKenzie Ave.from the north margin of
llth Street to a point 257 feet north of the north margin of 12th Street; Cogean Ave.
fro~ the north margin of llth Street to the south margin o~12~h Street and Cogean
~ve. from the north margin of 18th Street to the south margin of Sheldon Blvd. ~ll b~
paving and doing such other work as ~x~y be necessary to make such improvement a comp[
job.

Clerk read ordinance providing for the adoption of a building code and on motion
of Mr Casad and Mr McGillivray s~e was laid over for further information.
Clerk read a resolution authorizing and directing Co~ssioner Casad to ~ke app-
lication to the 'JPA for aid in financing several city projects, and on motion of
i~ir i~icGillivray and ~Ir Gasad resolution was approved,all m~bers voting Yes.
i~iotion by Mr Halverson and l~Ir Cosad to allow all bills approved by a majority of
the co~ission,carried, all m~bers voting yes.
