Regular meeting of the City Commission of the City of Bremerton,Washington,
held on saturday August 31, 1935 at ten o'clock ~.I'~.,Mayor McGillivray, presiding,
Co,_~aissioner Halverson and City Attorney Gor~uan being present at roll call.
Clerk read minutes of the regular meeting held on August 24,1935 and on motion
of ~Ir ttalverson and Mr ~icGil~ivray same were approved as read.
Clerk read resolution providing for the sale of Lot 7,Warren Smith's Acre Tracts
and action was deferred until next regular meeting.
Clerk reported this as date of hearing on assessment roll of L.I.D.t~134 and
stated that no protests had been filed.
Clerk rea8 ordinance #1068 approving and adopting the assessment roll of L.I.D.
~134 under ordinance #1041 and levying and assessing the cost thereof against the
parcels and lots of land and parts thereof within the boundary of the said district,
as shown on said roll,providing for the collection thereof,and fixing the date for t
the issuance of bonds in pa~naent thereof.
Aiotion by Mr Halverson and ~'[r McGillivray to pass and adopt ordinance as read,
carried as follows: ~Ir McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.
Clerk read resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor and City Clerk to sell
to C. Brooks, all of lots 39 and 40 of Block three (3) High School addition for the
total purchase price of $700.00 on terms of $155.00 down and balance payable in month]
pa~vaents of ~15. each with interest at ~he rate of 7% per annum until the full pay-
~ent thereof.
