Regular meeting of the City COmmission of the City of Bremertom,Washington,held on
saturday August 24,1935 at ten o'clock A.M,,Mayor McGlllivray, preslding; Gommissloner
ialverson, Commissioner Cas ad and City Attorney Gorman being present at roll call,
Clerk reed minutes of previous regular meeting and on motion of Mr Casad and Mr Hal-
verson same wB~e approved as read. Ail members voted Yes.
Clerk read letter from Department enclosing three copies of resolution of agreement
for the purpose of accomplishing a maximum employment of individuals listed as certif-
ied relief cases.
Motion by Mr Casad and Mr McGillivray to enter into contract as requested,carried
as follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Casad, Yes.
Clerk read letter from Library Board recommending that application be made for grant
~f 45% to apply on new Library Building. This was supported by a letter from the mail
~arriers association.
Motion by Mr Casad and Mr Halverson that request be granted and application made
In the usual way. carried as follows: Mr McGl]livray, Yes. Mr.Halverson, Yes. Mr,
~asad, Yes.
Clerk read Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor and Clerk to sell all of
Lots 16 and 17 of Block 2,Charleston,Kltsap County Washington to Ron H.Davis for the
total purchase price of $93.00 on terms of $20. down and monthly payments of $5. each
until the full payment thereof with interest at 7% per annum.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr Oasad to adopt resolution as read,carried as follows:

Clerk read resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor.and Clerk to sellall of
Lots 16,17 and 18 Block 4, Velton's Addition,Kitsap County,Washington to C.Brooks for
the total purchase price of $1425.00 on terms of $3~0. down and balance in monthly
payments of $40. each with interest on deferrad p~ymants of 7%.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray to adopt resolution as read,carried as
follows: Mr McGlllivray, Yes. Mr Halvereon, Yes. Mr Casad,Yes.
Clerk read resolution authorizing the Mayo~ and Clerk to sell Lot 7 Blosk 5 Warren
Smith's ~cre Tracts. and on motion of Mr McGlllivray and Mr Casad action was deferred
until next regular meeting.
Clerk reed resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor and Clerk to sell to E.
Lofthus Lot 3 Blk 7 Terrell's addition to Charleston for the total price of $578.00
on terms of $28.00 down and the balan~ to be paid in less than 2 years with interest
o~ 7% 9ar anmum on all unpaid balances.
Motion by Mr McGlllivray and ~Ar Halverson to adopt resolution assread, carried as

Clerk read resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor and Clerk to sell certain
@~opB~y in Lot One, Section 1S, Township 24 North,Range 1 East of W.M. for the sum of
~2800.00 and for tha~ purpose to enter into a contract with the ~ervice Fuel Company
;o provide for a cash payment of $250.00 the balance of $2550.00 payable in monthly
payments of $40. each with interest at 7% on deferred payments.

Clerk read resolution showing the assessmeat roll of L.I.D. ~13B had been file~
w~th the Clerk and fixing saturday September ~B, as date of hearing.
Motion by Mr Casad and Mr Halverson to pass resolution as read,carried as foll¢
