Regular meeting of the City COmmission of the City of Bremerton,Washington,held on
saturday June 15,1935 at ten o'clock A.M.,Mayor McGillivray,presiding;Commissioner
Halverson; Commissioner Cased and City Attorney German being present at roll call.
Clerk read minutes of the regular meeting held June 8-10-11, 1935 and on motioa
of Mr Halverson and Mr McGlllivray same were approved as read,all members voting Yes/
Motion by M.r McGillivray and Mr Halverson to award contract for rewiring at wharf
to Drlscoll Electric Co. at $3?5.00, carried as follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr.
, Yes. Mr Oasad, Yes.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray to notify Lofthus Lumber Company to repair
eof at wharf, carried as follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halvereon, Yes. Mr
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr Qasad that City Attorney be instructed to prepare a
.esolution making forma~ transfer of the old Charleston wharf property back to the Ande:
:on estate, carried as follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr cased, Yes.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr Cased to allow all bills approved by the commission,
arried as follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. ~r Cased, Yes.
Mr Cased reported, that the W.E.R.A. had approved the project known aa District 1~8,
~nd recommended that the proposal of Mr J.S.Kenyon be accepted, after some discussion
£t was agreed to defer action until monday June 17,1935. Two property owners
]g~X~ of East Bremarton made complaint that the streets in that part of town were
being kept up and asked the commissioners to hire Mr Waltenburg as assistant tp Mr
[sard.
Motion by Mr Cased and Mr McGlllivray that beginning July 1st 1955 the work at East
~remerton be split so that two men can work half time, carried as follows: Mr Mo~
es. Mr Cased, Yes. Mr Halvereon, Yes.
Motion by Mr McGlllivray and Mr 0asad to adjourn until ten o'clock monday morning

Pursuant to a~Journment the regular meeting of the commission was reoonvened .at ten

Motion by Mr Cased and Mr MoGillivray to accept the proposition .of Mr J.8.Kenyon and
~eject all other bids on proposed improvement of L.I.D.~13S, an~ award contract to Mr
carried as follows: Mr MoGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yee. Mr Cased, Yes.
Mr Casad reported on negotiations for the purchase of certain property for watershed
,oses and recommended its purchdse for the sum of $?~00,00.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr Oasad that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to
'chase for the sum 9f $?500.00 the ~ollowing described property for water shed purpoe~
The southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section Nineteen; the south one
half'or'She southwest quarter of Section Twentynine,and the southeast quarter of the
southeaet'~quarter of Section Thirty,all in Township Twenty four North,Range one
