Regular meeting of the City Co~ission of the City of Bremerton,Washington,
held on saturday ~pril 27,1935 at ten o'clock ~.M. Mayor McGlllivray, presiding,
Co~maissioner Halverson, Commissioner Casad and City attorney Gorman being present
at roll call.
Clerk read minutes of the regular meeting held on April 20,1935 and on motion
of Mr Halverson and Mr Casad same were approved as read,all members voting Yes.
Clerk reported this as date set for hearing on proposed improvement of alley in B~
Block 23 Original Town of Bremerton.
Engineer submitted plans and estimated cost of the work and Clerk read protest
signed by R.0.Qualheim and others a~d same was discussed by the cormmissioners and
Mr Qualheim.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray tha~ protest be allowed, carried as
follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Casad, No.
Clerk read resolution authorizing the City Clerk to publish a call for sealed
proposals for the purchase of Water Department Refund bonds of 1935 to refund out-
standing "Improvement and Betterment Water Works Bonds,in the sum of ~88,700.00
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray to pass resolution as read,carried as
follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Casad, Yes.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGlllivray to allow all bills approved by a majority
of the co~Eission, carried as follows: Mr McCillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes.
Mr Casad, Yes.
Clerk read Ordinance #1057 amending Section 1 of Ordinance #197 entitled"an
Ordinance to prevent the obstruction of sidewalks,cross ~alks and streets and repealin~
all. ordinances in conflict therewith and providing penalties"
Motion by Mr McGillivray and Mr Ga~ad~topass ordinance as read, carried as follows:

Clerk read resolution authorizing and dlrecting the Mayor and City Clerk to sell to
~m.h.0tto qll,;~f~lotsol.2,and3 Block 13,Port Orchard addition to Charleston for the
total purchase price of 9150.00 on terms of ~20.00 down and mohhhly payments of not
le~s than ~5.00 each with interest at the rate of 7% per annum.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray to adop~ resolution as read,carried as
follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Casad, Yes.
Clerk read resJlution authorizing the Mayor and the City ~lerk to sell to C.G.Fryat~
all of lot four in Block two of Park Place addition for the sum of ~160.00 cash.
Motion by MrMcGillivray and Mr Halverson to adopt resolution as read,carried as
follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Casad, Yes.
The question of sewer service at north end of McKenzie street was disuussed and
on motion of Mr McGillivray and Mr H~lverson Commissioner Casad mas authorized and
directed to have a short sewer installed at end of McKenzie Street to connect with
Sheldon Bird.sewer.
