Regular meeting of the City Com~ssion of the City of Bremerton,~ashington,held on
saturday March, 9,1930. at te~ o'clock z.M.Mayor McGillivray, presiding, Co~aissioner
~alverson,Co~mmissioner Cased and City zttorney Gorman being present at roll Gall.
Clerk reported this as date set for hearing on proposed improvement of Warren Ave.
and the Alley in Bloc~ 22,0riginal plat of Bremerton and read letter fr~m the City
Engineer submitting preliminary estimate and plans for the work; Clerk reported that
no protests had been filed; the Mayor then asked if anyone present had anything to
say in reference to proposed improvement; Mr ~. ~. Churchill president of the Chris-
tian Science Church and Mr C.C.Stephens spoke in favor of the work and Mr Heinriek
owner of Lots 35 and 36 in Block~ spoke against the improvement giving as his reason
that he could not afford to pay for it.
Motion by Mr Cased and Mr Halverson ~nd Mr Cased to overrule protest,carried as
follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Casad, Yes.
Clerk read Ordinance #1050 providing for the improvement of Warren Avenue between
Burwell and Fourth Stree~ and the ~lley in Block 22 Original Town of Bremerton, by
clearing,gmubbing,grading and paving with a one course concrete pavement,together
with such other work as may be necessary to make the improvement a complete job,
establishing an improvement district,providing for levying assessments for payment
thereof ~nd making said improvement payable by bonds.
Motion by Mr C~sad and Mr Halverson to pass ordinance on first reading and file in
Clerk's office one week for public inspection, carried as follows: Mr McGillivray,Yes.
Mr ltalverson, Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.
Clerk read ordi~ance #1051 approving and adopting the plans and specifications for
the improvement of Warren ~venue between Burwell and Fourth Streets and the Alley in
Block 22 Original Town of Breme~ton.
~iotion by Mr Cased and Mr H~lverson to pass ordinance as read,carried as follows:

Clerk read resolution auLhorizing and directing the Mayor and City Clerk to sell
all of Lot 2, Block 19 Reese's First Addition to Port Orchard U.S.N.Y. Kitsap County
~ashington, to Jens Jacobson for the sum of $157.25 in cash.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray to pass resolution as read,carried as
follows: Mr ~cGillivray Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray to allow all bills approved by~a majority
of the commission, carried as follows: ~r McGi]livray, Yes, Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr.
Cased, Yes.
Motion by Mr Halverson and ~r McGillivray to adjourn,carried,all members voting Yes
