Regular meeting of the City Co~mmission of the $ity of Bremerton,,;ashin~ton,
held ou ~aturday January 5, 1935 at ten o'clock ~.M.~Mayor McGillivray presiding,
to:.mi,~:.'iouer Halverson, Co~issioner Casad and City ,~ttorney Gorman being present
~t roll call.
Clerk read minutes of previous regular meeting and o.~ motion of Mr Cased and Idr ~
halverson, same were approveu as read, all members voting Yes.
Clerk read resolution showin that the assessment roll of L.I.D.,~133 had been
filed with the City Clerk and setting date of hearinf on same for February 2,1935,
directing the City Clerk to send notices of such hearing to ali interested i~roperty
ow:~ers and to publish resolution in the official daily newspaper.
Motion by Mr Mr Gasad and M~~ MoGilll~ay to pass resolution as read, carried as
follows; Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. M~ Casad, Yes.
Cle~'k re~d resolution declaring intention of the City Co~ission to order the
improvement of Pennsylvania ~venue between Sixth and ~lghth Streets by paving '~ith
a one course concrete pavement. Mr C~sad ~eport~ that several property owners
north of Light Street desired to have the street paved to the City limits and sug-
gested that the con~ission defer action .
Mot]on by Mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray to approve reco~nnendation 'of Engineer
and lay resolution on table, carried as follows; Mr i.,icGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson,
Yes. ~:ir Ga ad, Yes.
idotion by Mr ~falverson and Mr Casad to allow all bills approved by a majority of
the co~mi~sion, carried ~s follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr iialverson, Yes. Mr Casad,

motion by ]~/ir italvers~n ann Mr Casad that Go~al.~sioner of Public ~¥orks and the City
· .ttorney ~o to Seattle and ~&t in at the meeting considering the purchase of the
properties of the Puget Sound Power and Light Company, carried as follows:

]lerk read petition fr~ interested property owners requesting that ,~arren avenue
botweoil Burwell and Fourth Streets and the ~lley in Block 22 Original town of Bremertc
be paved.
Motion by Mr Casad and Mr Halverson to refer to Engineer's office for checking,
