Regular meeting of the City Co~;n~ission of the City of Bremerton,Washington,
held on saturday I~ov.~1,1936 at ten o'clock A.~I. Commissioner Halverson presiding,
Co~ul~sioner Cased being present and the ~ayor absent on account of sickness.
~lerk read the minutes of the regular meeting of Nov.14,1936 and adjournment thereof
and on motion of ~Ir Cmmad and ~r Halverson same were approved as read.
Clerk reported this as date set for hearing on the proposed improvement of Elizabeth
Avenue north of Seventeenth Street, and reported that no protests had been filed.
Engineer submitted preliminary estimate of the cost showing total cost $4,648.20
and deducting the WPA. aid estimated at $1,394.45 leavingnthe net cost to the district
~3,253.75. The ~iayor asked if any one present had objection and ~lr Y.S.Kenyon arose
a~d protested that the improvement would be of no benefit to him; ~1rs Gunda Bailey
owner of Lots 13 to 16 Blk.1 Lucy Smith's Acre mm~..~,~.~ addition protested because the
work would not benefit her property.

Clerk reported this as date of hearing on proposed improvement of the alley, in

Clerk submitted petition frc~ residents of East Bremerton asking for a sewer system
t!~ engineer reported having checked the petition and found same sufficient;

Pursuant to adjournment the City Co~uission re-convened its regular meeting with ~
l~ayor ~icOillivray, presiding; Commissioner Halverson, Commissioner Cased and City
Gor!.~an being present at roll call.
Clerk read report on primary election and was directed to publish the report once ir.
each of the daily papers.
~'£r Cased submitted preliminary plan of sewer system at East Bremerton and same was
discussed infor~ally by the co~muission; the financing of the project was also discussed
