Regular meeting of the City Coi~saission of the City of Bremerton,,~ashington,
held on Saturday October 2d,1936 at ten o'clock z.M.,Mayor McGillivray presiding,
Do~muissioner Halverson, Commissioner Casad and City ~,t'toeney German being present
at roll call.
Clerk read minutes of the regular meeting held October 17,1936 and on motion of
L,Lr Casad and Mr Halverson same were approved as read.
Clerk read resolutign of intention to improve Hewitt Avenue between Sixth and Eighth
treets, by paying etc'and ~ Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr Casad to table until
urther infor~mtion is obtained; carried as follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Halverson,
les. Mr Casad, Yes.
Clerk read resolution declaring intention to order improvement of Elizabeth Avenue
from the south margin of Seventeenth Street to Washington Narrows, by paying etc. and
setting Eovember 21 ~936 as date of hearing.
Motion by ~r Halverson and Mr Casad to adopt resolution, carried as follows:

Clerk read resolution to order the improvement of ~ the alley between
Park Avenue and McKenzie A?enus extending fr~n Ninth to Eleventh Streets by paving
otc., Motion by Nlr Halverson and ~ Casad to table for further consideration,
~arried as follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes. Mr Ha lverson, Yes. Mr Casad, Yes.
~otion by Mr Halverson and Mr McGillivray to allow all bills approved by a majority
of the co~mission, carried as follows: Mr ~cGillivray, Yes. ~r Halverson, Yes. Mrm
Dasad, Yes.
The City Engineer submitted final estimate of L.I.D.#143 and same was read by
Jlerk as follows: Total Cost of Job $6,494.96 less credit for private worh $285.00
~et Cost to District $6,209.96. Mr Casad called attention to the fact that the Job
~as completed for ~1,192.60 less than the Engineer's preliminary estimate and reco~Eend~
that the jobe be accepted~ and the s~timate approved.
Motion by ~ Halverson to approve the Engineer's recommendation and accept the Job
and approve t~e estimate, Carried as follows: Mr McGillivray, Yes.~ Mr Halverson,Yes.
Mr Casad, Yes.
