Regular meeting of the City Co~Eission of the City of Bremerton,~ashington,
held on saturday March 14,1936 at ten o'clock a.m.,Mayor McGi~_livrey presiding,
Co~nlssioner Casad and City Attorney Gorman being present at roll call.
Minutes of previous regular meeting read and on motion of M~r Cased and Mr ~icGillivray
minutes were approved.
Clerk reported this as date set for hearing in connection wi th the vacation of
alleys in Block #20 Original plat of Bremerton, and certified that he had posted the
notices required by law, and no protests had been filed.
Clerk read ordinance #1086 vacating the alleys in block #20 original plat of
Bremerton, and transferring title of the land occupied by said alleys to the owners
of the abutting property.
Motion by Mr iJcGillivray and Mr Cased to pass and adopt ordinance as read,carried
as follows: Mr McGlllivray, Yes. Mr Halverson, Absent. Mr Cased, Yes.
Clerk read petitions for the improvement of Fifth Street between Pacific and Wash-
ington ~venues and the alley between Fifth and Sixth in Block 5.original plat of
Bremerton. Petition referred to Engineering Dept.
Mr Cased reported that work had been started on the paving of alley as provided
in Local Improvement District #136.
Clerk read resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor and City Clerk to sell
to J. W. Bryan, Sr. the following described property:
Lots Six (6) and Seven (7) and the west 24 feet of Lot Five (5) William Bunce's
First addition to Charleston,Kitsap County Washington, and acerage as described;
Part of Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (SW~ SW¼) Section Fourteen(14)
Township Twenty-four (24) North, Range One (1) East of W.M.,beginning at a point
844 feet North and 754.63 feet East of Southwest corner'of Southwest Quarter of
the Southwest Quarter, thence North 65 feet, thence East 70.37 feet,thence South
65 feet, thence West 70.37 feet t0$eginning;
