Regular meeting of the City Co~ai~sion of the City of Bremerton,W~shington,
held on Saturday Sap.il,1937 at ten o'clock,A.M.,Mayor Knabb presiding,Commt_ssioner
Halverson,Commfssioner Casad and City Attorney Beakley being present at roll call.
Clerk read minutes of previous regular meeting and on motion of M~r Casad and Mr.
~abb, same were approved as re~, all m~bers voting ~Yes.
Clerk filed preli~nary budge~ for 19~ and on mo~ion of ~ Casad and Mr.Halverson
same was accepted and Clerk instruct~ to publish the custo~ry notice,all members
~oting yes.
Clerk read letter from Library Board reco~ending the appointmen~ of ~ Frank B.
~mith and Mr Charles V.Rueger as archetects on ~he new library building.

The Mayor reported t~t he ~d appointed ~ C. I. Cornell to se~e as Captain and
~r. R.0.D.Murphy to servis as Lieut. in Police Dep~tment.

~a~ents, sta~d he wish~ to p~ off the a~unt ow~g on s~e of t~ property and
ask that a new contract should be issued on t~ balance of ~he property purchased.

Mr Halverson reported having worked out an arr~g~mt for the construction of a
aew building at .the wharf and fo~ additional parking facilities, and the proposition
~as discussed by the co~m!ssion ~d interested property owners.
