Regular meeting of the City Commission of the City of Bremerton,~'~ashington, held or.
saturday I'~iaroh 20,19U7 et ten o'clock A.M., ~Iayor Knabb presiding, Co~mni,sioner Halver~on,
Co~m~li~sioner Cased and City Attorney Bleakley being present at roll call.
Clerk read minutes of the previous regular meeting and on motion o~ Mr Cased and
~ir Halverson same were approvea as rea4, all members voting Yes.
Clerk reported this as date set for hearing on the approval of the assessmen~ roll
of L. I. D. #142 and stated that no protests had been filed;the I~layor asked for protes;s
from those present and none were offered.
Clerk read ordinance #10B4 approving and adopting the asses~ent roll of L.I.D.#142
under ordinance #1097 and fixing the date for the issuance of bonds in payment thereof
idotion by Mr Halverson and Mr Knabb to adopt ordinance as read,carried as follows:

Clerk read resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor and City Clerk to sell
all of Lot 14 in Block 3 Terrell's addition to Charleston, to H. E. Hughes for the to al
price of ~50.00 on terms of $20.00 down and balance on terms of $10.00 per month with
interest at 7%. Motion by I~r Halverson and Mr Knabb to adopt resolution as re d
carried as follows: Mr. Knabb, Yes. ~r Halverson, Yes. ~ir Cased, Yes.
Clerk also read proposed resolution for the sale of Lots 9.10.11 Block 7 First adtn
to Charleston, and on motion of Mr Halverson and Mr Cased same was referred back to
Treasurer's Office for correction.
Clerk read letter from K.0.Schulthies requesting permission to operate a "sound wagon"
and agreeing to pay $~5. for license to end of fiscal year. I~otion by Mr Halverson a~d
~,ir Knabb to approve application, carried as follows: Mr Knabb, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes

City Engineer submitted final e~timate of L.I.D.#14? as follow~; ~relimlnary estim~ te
~!15,990.00. Total cost of completed job $15,334.23 including private work of $431.12
Met amount of job $14,903.1~, being $1,086.89 under estimate. The Engineer reported
the job as completed and reco~'m~ended its acceptance.

f~r Cased reported that he had arranged with the County Co~.~aissioners for a right of
way to open Ironsides Avenue.
A dclegation of property owners presented a petition for the improvement o~ certain
streets in High School Addition and vicinity, and after a prolonged discussion the
petition was referred to the City Engineer.

~ir ~duabb reported that he had dismissed Patrolman Hotaling and a?pointed E.W.White
to fill the vacancy. Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr Knabb to confirm the action of the
idayor, carried as follows: Mr Knabb, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. ~ir Cased, Yes.
Diction by Mr Halverson and l~,Ir Knabb to adjourn, carried, all m~nbers voting Yes.
