Regular meeting of the City ~ommission of tt~ City of Bremerton,~ashington, held
on saturday Feb.27,193? at te~ o'clock A.M.,Mayor ~E~Fni~b~¥,presiding, Commissioner
Halverson, Commissioner Cased and City Attorney ~eakley being present at roll call.
Clerk read minutes of the previous regular meeting and on motion of Mr.Halverson
and Mr Cased salem were approved as read, all members voting Yes.
Clerk read letter frmu Charles Kelly and l~ other residents of Blackwell Garden
Tracts requesting a new street light and on motion of Mr Halverson and Mr Knabb the
request ws granted.
Clerk read letters from The Police Department urging that several new street light~
be installed and requesting the installation of Traffic lights at several street inte~
sections. Referred to the City Engineer for investigation.
Clerk read letter from ~ ~.S.Jack~on in reference to concession at ~ew Athletic
Field; Letter ordered filed.
Clerk read letter from The Pacific Telephone and Telegrap~ Company enclosing check
in amount of $3~2.9~ in payment of ~% net receipts as required by ordinance #~0~.
and on motion of Mr Halverson and Mr Knabb same was referred to City Treasurer.
~otion by Mr Cased and Mr Knabb that City Attorney be requested to check up on the
franchise of the Telephone Company and advise con~nission when same will expire,carrie~
as follows: Mr Knabb, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.
Clerk read letter from City Attorney in reference to claims for damages and stated
he was unable to ~ke definate~atement until he received certain information from
City Engineer..
Clerk read application of Ralph T.Connell requesting a change in his route so as
to continue from Fourth and Pacific along Pacifice Avenue to First Street, along Firs~
Street to ~ashington Avenue, along ,~ashington Avenue to Fourth~ Street, along Fourth
Street to Pacific and thence along present route.
D~otion by Mr Knabb and Mr Halverson to grant request subject to approval of the
Police Department, carried as follows: Mr Knabb, Yes. ~r Halverson, Yes. ~r Cased, Y~
Clerk read resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor and Clerk to sell all of
Lot Eleven (ll) Nels Nelson Addition to ~. A. Bernhardt for the total price of $590.0(
~otion by Mr Cased and ~r Halverson to pass and adopt resolution as read,carried as

The new contract with the P.S.Power and Light Co. was taken up and discussed;
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr Knabb to authorize the mayor to sign contract,if,and whe
approved by the City attorney, carried as follows: Mr Knabb,Yes. I~ Halverson, Yes.

Motion by Mr ~lverson and Mr Cased to allow all bills approved by a majority of th
