Regular m:eting of the city commission of City of Bremerton,Washington,held on
saturday Jan.30,1937 at ten o'clock a.m. Mayor Nnabb,presiding, Commissioner Halver-
son, Co~uissioner Casad and City Attorney Beakley being present at roll call.
Clerk read the minutes of regular m eting held Jan.23,1937 and on motion of Mr
Halverson and Mr Knabb same were approved as read, all members votihg Yes.
Letter read from Queen City Yacht Club requesting the co~m~ission to construct
and maintain a public float to facilitate the landing of parties from small boats.
Motion by Mr Knabb and Mr Casad to refer to co~m~ttee of the whole, carried as follows

Clerk read letter frcm Kerr Motors Co. calling attention to the fact that said
company had procured a new truck chassis for the garbage department and stating that
the equipment was now on hand.
Motion by Mr Casad and Mr Halverson to refer to the ~layor with power to act,
carried as follows: Mr Knabb, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Casad, Yes.
Clerk read letter from Mr H.H. Perrin, 1921 llth Street, complaining about insanitary
conditions in the. vicinity of his home camsed by overflowin cesspools located outsid~
the city limits and asking the co~mnission to endeavor to find a way to have the nuissnce
abated.

Clerk read a letter fram City Attorney calling attention to the fact that he had
not received any allowance for stenographer during December 1936. Letter referred t¢
the city clerk with instructions to draw warrant when regular voucher had been filed.
Clerk read ordinance Sroviding for the licensing of building contractors and aftez
considerable discussion ordinance was referred to the City Attorney with instructions
to make same more definate.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr Cased to allow all bills approved by a nmJority of
the commission, ca:~ried as follows: Mr Knabb, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Casad,Yes.
Clerk read alease granting to Rex A.Bliss and P.P.Bliss the right and privilege
certain space in the waiting room of the Municilml ~'~lmrf for the term of 5 years
at the monthly rental of $75.00.
Motion by ~[r Halverson and ~&r Knabb to approve lease and authorize the Mayor. to
si~n same, carried as follows: Mr K_uabb, Yes. Mr Halve~mon, Yes. Mr Casad, Yes.
