Novemlb~m~ 7th 1938.
Regular meeting of the city commission of the City of Bremerton,Washingten,
reconvened at ten o'clock A.M. Nov.7,1938 with all members present.
Clerk read minutes of the meeting held on Dctober 29,1938 and November 2,1938
and on motion of Mr Casad and Mr Halverson same were approved as read,all members
voting Yes.
Letter read from Bonnie V. Fellows,627 0akes Street,Tacoma,owner of property on
Washington Avenue, asking the commission to prevent parking in front of her property
near the Chalet Hotel,on Washington Avenue.
Motion by Mr Knabb and Mr Halverson to Erant request and refer to ~$1ice Dept.
carried as follows: Mr Knabb, Yes. M~r Halverson, Yes. Mr Casad, Yes.
Clerk read ordinance establishing L.I.D.for the improvement of the alley in Block
Navy Park Addition, (Second reading) clerk reported that a petition protesting the work
had been filed since the first reading of the ordinance, petition was read by clerk,
Motion by Mr Casad and Mr Halverson to defer action on ordinance until next regular
meeting, carried as follows: Mr Knabb, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Casad, Yes.
Clerk read ordinance #1253-A adopting the plans,maps and Specifications for the
improvement of Marguerite Avenue and Thirteenth Street as described in and provided
in L. I. D. #194. ·
Motion by Mr.Casad and Mr Knabb to pass and adopt ordinance as read,carried as
follows: Mr Knabb, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.

Street, north to a point 302.02 feet north of Thirteenth Street, by the const~fet~pn
of a system of Storm and Sanitary sewers, ( Second Reading)establishing L.I.~.#195~
Motion by Mr Nalverson and Mr Knabb to pass and adopt ordinance as read,ca--as
follows: Mr Knabb, Yes. Mr.Halverson, Yes. Mr Casad, Yes.
Clerk read ordinance approving the plans,maps ~cifications for the storm and s
sanitary sewer on Marguerite Avenue under L.I.B. ~195. J
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr Knabb to pass an~ ordinance,carried as follows:

Motion by Mr Casad and Mr Knabb to instruct clerk to call for bids for the improvemeK

Motion by Mr Knabb and Mr Halverson to allow all bills approved by a majority of the
