~t the 3tatutery meeting of the city coK~Ri~sion held on September 5,1939 at
1.30 P/IvY. with ell members and the city attorney present, the Clerk submitted
the budget of estimated expenditdres and estimated receipts, and other data for
the information of the cormni~sion.
The co~'_issioners considered the estimates and several changes were suggested,
the city attorney called attention to the fact that the work of his office had
increased very mmterially and for many years there had been no adjustment of the
proper amount of salary, and stated that he felt that the co~nission should allow
the various items in his budget as submitted. No action taken by the co~m~ission.
Motion by Nr Halverson ~nd Er Jones to adjourn until 3aturday 5ept.9,1939,
carried us follows; Mr Jones, Yes. Nr tialverson, Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.
