Regular meeting of the city co~nission of the City of Bremerton, Washington,held
on Saturday January 14,1939 at ten o'clock A.M., Mayor Knabb presiding,Mr Halverson
Mr Cased and the City Attorney being present at roll call.
Clerk read minutes of the previous regular meeting and on motion of ~ Cased and
Halverson mame were approved as read all maabers voting Yes.
Clerk rea~ letter frGn Mrs Westgren and others asking that a street light be placed
at the intersection of Twelfth and Olympic Streets.
Motion by Mr Knabb and Mr Halvers on to refer to Co~m~issione~ Cased, carried as
follows: Mr Knabb, Yes. Mr Ha lverson, Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.
Letter read from Mr Chas. B. LeBus c Gnplaining about the condition of the roadway
in front of 225-229 Burwell Street.
Motion by Mr Halverson and Mr Knabb to refer to the CitymEngineer, with power to
act; carried as follows: Mr Knabb, Ye~. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.
Mr Cased gave report for the committee of the whole and reco~ended that the pro-
posal of the Colmubia Company for Austen-Western Single drive grade~ be accepted.
Motion by Mr Iduabb and Mr Casad to approve the reco~endatlon and accept the pro-
posal of the Columbia Equipment Company of and Austin-Nestern single drive grader
Gross price $3,775.00 less allowance on old equipment $1,800.00 Net Price $1,975.00
carried as follows: Mr Knabb, Yes. Mr Ha lverson, Yes. Mr Cased, Yes.
Motion by Mr Halverson and ~r Knabb to allow all bills approved by aimajority of
the city commission; carried as follows: Mr Kuabb, Yes. Mr Halverson, Yes. Mr Cased
Yes.
Motion by Mr Knabb and Mr Ha lverson to adjourn; carried as follows: Mr Knabb, Ye
