Regular meeting of the city co~mmission of the City of Bremerton, ~ashin.~tou,held
on Sat,Jrday Jan.27,1940 Mayor Jones presiding, Commissioner Bruenn Commissioner Casad
and the city attorney being present.

Clerk read resolution authorizing the sale of certain lots and on motion of Mr.
Bruenn and Mr Casad the matter was referred to co~mittee of the whole for one week.
Clerk reported having called for bids for the sale of the property a~ 930 Pleasant
and uo bids had been filed; Mr Grams the adjoining property owner arose and stated
he wished to offer a bid for this property but had not seen the clerk's notice and
did not know he had to file a bid with the clerk; on motion of Mr Jones and Nr. Brue~n
the matter was laid over for one week.
Clerk read a resolution authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to issue a deed to Mr & Mrs
Leland G.Buekley fSr the s~nn of ~375.00 cash, Lot 3,and the north 20 feet o~ Lot
Block !, Thoa.S.Fellows addition'to Decatur, except the west 25 feet thereof
Motion by Mr Jones and Mr Ca, ad to adopt resolution as read, carried ~s fo]low~:

Mrs Margaret A. Land stated that she and purchased from the city the East 90 feet
of Lot ~3~ of Tebbetts Decatur Acre Tracts and finds that she has only the East
feet and on motion of Mr Jones and ~r Bruenn the question was referred to the City
Engin er and the City Attorney for investigation.

Motion ~ Mr Bruenn and ~r Casad to grant request of contractor and grant exten-
sion ef completion date to July 15,19~.0, carried as follows' ~r Jones, Yes.

A delegation from the Griffith Estate headed by Mr Pleas, appeared before the
commi~;sion requesting information on how to proceed in the matter of forming a water
district in their community and on motion of Mr Jones and Mr Bruenn the matter was
referred to Mr Casad for investigation.
The Mayor reported having appointed Mr Duncan Aldrich as a member of the Planning
commission in place of Mr Otto Voll, resigned,
Motion by Mr Casad and ~lr Bruenn to confirm afpointment of Mr Aldrich, carried as

Motion by Mr Brueun and Mr Ca,ad to allow a~ll bills a .proved by a majority of the
