Special meeting of the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, Washington,
held on Saturday, June ~?,~942. Present, Mayor Bruenn, Commissioner Wilkes, City
Treasurer Nutter, Assistant City Attorney Merkel, Paul A. Sheeley represented the
City Engineers office, Mr. Casad being on vacation.
The Mayor explained that this meeting had been called and convened for the
purpose of spproving the plans and specifications for extensions to the Water
Department and calling for bids on the work.
Mr. Sheely explained that plans had been approved by Regional Director, L. R.
Durkee.
Motion by Mr. Bruenn and Mr. Wilkes to adopt plans and specifications as
already approved by Regional Oirector L. R. Durkee, in re project Wash 45-165,
providing for Water supoly l~nes and reservoirs, carried as follows: Mro Bruenn,
Yes. Mr. Wilkes, Yes. ~r. Casad, absent.
Motion by ~r. Bruenn and Mr. Wilkes to instruct the Clerk to advertise for
bids on ~ater Department supply line under Project Wash 45-165 returnables_July 15,
1942, carried as follows: Mr. Bruenn, Yes. Mr. Wilkes, Yes. Mr. Casad, absent.
