SPECIAL meeting of the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, Washington,
held on Thursday, August 28, 1941. Mayor Bruenn presiding, Commissioner Wilkes,
Commissioner Casad and Deputy City Clerk being present.
The Mayor explained that the meeting had been called to correct the minutes
of August 27, 1941, showing the appointment of a Recreation Commission.
Mayor Bruenn submitted the names of the following to serve on the Recreation
Commission instead of the members previously appointed:
Mrs. H. ~. McDonald, one year appointment
Fred Ryen, two year appointment
Roy Levlne, three year appointment
Mrs. Sadie Kean, four year appointment
H. P. Bubke, five year appointment
with Dr. Swanson ex-officio member of the School Board, and Me. Wilkes, ex-officio
member representing the City Commission.
Motion by Mr. Wilkes and Mr. Casad to approve the recommendation of Me.
Bruenn and confirm the appointment, carried as follows: Mr. Bruenn, Yes. Mr.
Wilkes, Yes. Mr. Casad, Yes.
Motion by Mr. Bruenn and Mr. Wilkes to adjourn, carried, all members voting
Yes.
