A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was held in
the Mayor's Office at the City Hall on Friday, September 28, 194V, at 10:~5 o'clock
a.m., following a discussion with Dr. Town relative to the health budget. Mayor Kean
presiding, Commissioner Haddon and Commissioner Gorst being present.
Motion by Mr. Kean and Mr. Gorst to call a meeting for Wednesday evening,
October 1, l~4V, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. at the City Hall of all those who contribute to
and receive benefits from the health program to discuss the health program and health
budget, City Clerk be directed to notify various, groups concerned of time and place
of meeting, carried.
Some discussion ensued on those to be n~tified and Clerk remarked that Dr.
Town is to send a list of interested parties. It was decided that County Superinten-
dent of Schools should be notified in order to notify various Superintendents of
Schools in the county.
Motion by Mr. Kean and Mrs. Haddon to ~dJourn, carried.
