Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Bremerton, Washington
was helm Saturday, November 4, 1950 at 10:30 A.N. in the Nayor~ oI~fice to
consider request for release of retained percentage on the Hall-Atwater Sew-
age Contract.. Nayor Kean presiding ann Commissioner Hammon~ Commissioner
Wheaton, City Clerk NcGowan, City Auditor Vaa, Water Superintendent Casad and
City Engineer Severance being present.
Cler~ read letter £rom Hall-Atwater Company which stated that the C~ty
had accepte~ the construction on September l~, 19~0 and full payment has been
made on all estimates except ~he re~ained percentage of $40~602.~9 which was
to be held I'or a periom of thirty days anm ~hat sufficient time has passed
For authorizing this payment an~ asked that the matter be expedited.
Notion by Mr. Wheaton anm Nfs. Hae~on that reten~ion be pai~ subject ~o
any liens on file in the Clerk's O£fice, carried, all members vo~tng Yes.
Notion by Nr. Kean and Nrs. Ha~on to amjourn, carried.
