Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was held
on Friday, November 23, 19Ol in the Mayor's office, City Hall. Acting Mayor
Haddon presiding and City Clerk McGowan being present. Mayor Kean and Com-
missioner Wheaten being absent from the City, attending the christening of
the U.S.S. Bremerton in San Francisco, California.
The City. Clerk explained this meeting was c~ led for the opening of the
log bids on log raft #42 and he had been authorized by the Council meeting
of November 21st to award the bid in the best interest of the City of Brem-
erton.
Clerk opened the bide and read from:
Eclipse Lumber Company, $8,801.85.
Nettleton Timber Company, $V,890.56
Checks were enclosed with both bids for 10% of the amount bid.
The City Clerk announced the award would be made to the Eclipse Lumber
Company, the high bidder.
Meeting adjourned.
