Special m~eting of the City ~ouncil of the City of Bremerton, Washington
was held Monday, November 5, 1951 at E:lO P.M. in the Mayor,s Office, City
Hallj Bremerton. Mayor Kean presiding and Commissioner Haddon, Commissioner
Wheaton and City Clerk McGowan being present.
Mayor Kean stated the Special Meeting was being held to consider the
request from Arvid T. Larsen for removing dirt from the SE corner of llth
and Pleasan~ on property owned by the City of Bremerton.
Mr. Kean commented that Mr. Larsen requested the privilege of removing
dirt from this lot and it was suggested that he discuss the matter with the
City Engineer and if the Engineer thought it advisable to have the dirt re-
moved from this property, a letter should be prepared reciting it and it
could be acted on then.
Mr. ~'~neaton remarked that the dirt could be removed under direction of
the City ~ngineer.
It was the opinion of the Commissioners that this would increase the
value oI' the property.
A letter was presented from the Engineer's Office recommending removal
of dirt.
Notion by Mr. Wheaton and Mr. Kean to allow the dirt to be removed,
carried.
Motion by Mr. Kean and Mrs. Haddon to adjourn, carried.
