A Special Meeting of the City Council was held at lO:O0 o'clock, A.M.,
on Tuesday, September 1, 1953 with Mayor Yowell presiding and Commissioner
Wheaton, Commissioner Cullin, City Clerk McGowan md City Auditor ~aa in at-
.tendance.
Mr. Vaa presented the budget as he had compiled after rec~pt from the
various departments and announced that in its present state it contained a
deficit of $203,589.06.
It was moved by Miss Cullin and seconded by Mr. Wheaton that the Council
accept the preliminary budget, carried.
t~ere being no further business the meeting wes adjourned.
