A s~ecial meeting of theU~ity CouncA1 of the City of Bremerton was called
at 10.00- o'clock A.M., in the Mayor,s Office, City Hall to adopt the Prelimin-
ary Budget for 1955. Mayor Yowell presiding with CommissionerCulli~, Commis-
sioner Wheaton, City Clerk McGowan and City Auditor Vaabeing present.
City Auditor Vaa presented the 1955 Preliminary Budget in the amount of
~4,132.188.59.
Discussion followed.
Motion by Mr. Wheaton and Mr. Yowell to adopt the Preliminary Budget and
authorize the City Clerk to advertise in the local newspaper that the public
hearings on the budget will commence on October 4, 1954, carried.
Motion by Mr. Yowell and Miss Cullin to adjourn, carried~
