A special meeting of the was held in the Mayor's Office on
July 1, 1954 a~ 2:~0~ P.M.~wit ~residing and Commissioner Wheaton
and City Clerk Mc~Owan in attendance.
The City Clerk stated that this meeting was called because of the fact
that an error had been made in interpreting the bids on stove, fuel and diesel
oils. In the ~Tide Water Associated bid the discount allowed was deducted from
a figure that waS~pres~med to be the present posted price when in reality it
was the posted.price with the discount already considered. In other words,
this was the net quoted to the City.. As a consequence of this correction awards
were recon~mended, on the basis of low bid, as follows:
General Petroleum: Stove and Diesel Fuel Oil.
Associated 0il: Automotive Diesel.
It was moved by Mayor Yowell and Seconded by Mr. ~eaton that the recom-
mendation of the City Clerk be concurred in, carried.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
