On question by representative of Evergreen Upholstery Company Mr. Clark ex-

spproved by Architect Stuart, was due to minor changes in the work and because of un-
usual weather conditions. Mr. Clark stated that at the time the first extension was
allowed technically the company was entitled to a little longer than 30 days but this
didn't seem necessary to ask for at that particular time; that the City could have

City Attorney stated the Council had met in executive session and made some mi-
nor modifications to the contract; that the Council has agreed to these modifications
and have done it by inter-lineation rather then doing the agreement all over again.
Mr Clark commented that the District has already signed some of the copies and
the changes simply change from a gallon measurement to a cubic foot measurement and
eliminates two words which appear to be superfluous, and the changes do not in any
way change the meaning of the contract.
