A special meeting of the City Council was held at l:~O P.N., Thursday, April
13, 1961 in the Nayor's Office, City Hall with Nayor Domstad presiding. Also in
attendance were Commissioner Clark, Commissioner Schoneman and City Clerk NcGowan.
Nayor Domstad announced that the purpose of this special meeting was to dis-
cuss and take action on the current population figures.
A discussion was held with reference to a report previously submitted by City
Auditor Vas in which two methods of arriving at a population figure for 1962 were
set forth. After some discussion it was decided that an average of the two totals
would be used and submitted in a report to the Census Board.
Notion by Nr. Domstad and Nr. Schoneman that the total of 54, 146 be used in
the report and the Nayor be authorized to sign the report, carried.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
