A special meeting oi' the City Council was held on Thursday, at 10:45 A.N., in
9iiss Cullin's office with Miss Cullin presiding and Commissioner $choneman, Attor~y
Hoy Holland and O~ty Clerk McGowan in attendance.
Mr. Peter Hollosi, Jr., of the U.S. Army Engineers District, Seattle, was also
present and made a request for the use of an area on Gold Mountain for the temporary
installation of some eq~pment to be used in connection with Army exermises known
as Coulee Crest Exercises.
Moved by Mr. Schoneman and seconded by Ruth Cullin that permission be granted to
use the area for a period of approximately six weeks from April 20th, carried.
Mr. Schoneman stated that he would make arrangements for representatives of the
Army to examine the area.
There being no further business this meeting waa adjourned.
