Home My WebLink About12/07/66 ........... 5ecember 7, 1966 Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Bremerton, Washington, was convened in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at lO:00 o'clock A.M., P.S.T., on Wednesday, December V, 1966, with Commissioner Schoneman presiding. Also present were the following: City Clerk McGowan, City Attorney Fisher, · City Planner McConnell, Fire Chief Tillett, and members of the press and radio. Mayor Jarstad and Commissioner Clark were attending a convention in Nevada. The meeting was called to or,er by Commissioner Schoneman and the invocation was given by the Reverend Glen Soule, Manette Community Church. Mr. Schoneman explained at this time that since there was no a quorum pre- sent, the Council meeting would necessarily be adjourned and in its place a public works annual report would be given. The City Clerk stated that two bid openings were scheduled for ll:O0 o'clock The bids would be opened for the information o£ the bidders, but will not be considered until there is a full Council present. M ee ting a d Journe d. ~-~//,~~~ CITT CLERK / APPROVED: At this time, Mr. Schoneman introduced Captain Jenson, Head of Public Works in the Navy Yard; County Commissioner Jack Rogers; and Senator Frances Morgan, all in attendance at the meeting. A comprehensive report by .the Department heads in Public Works was given on the activities and projects during the year 1966 to date. At ll:O0 o'clock, the City Clerk opened bids on Official Publications for the year 196V and Gasoline and Oils for 1967.
