SUMMARY: The City manages Bremerton Kitsap Access Television ("BKA T") - providing
production and access services to Kitsap County under a professional services contract. The current
professional service contract which was executed on January 11, 1999 and as subsequently amended
and extended, has now expired and is in need of replacement. Staff is recommending the City
Council approve execution of a new professional services contract with the County that provides for
continued provision of BKA T production and access services for a period of 3 years with the annual
fee as established in the first year being adjusted each year thereafter during the contract term by an
agreed upon published CPI index.
ATTACHMENTS: Discussion Memorandum and Service Contract
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Provides revenues for the Public Access
Television Fund to support operational costs.

authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement in substantially the form as presented.
