addition onto existing garage
To Whom it May Concern:
This is to advise you that the subject application for Administrative
Variance has been approved. The variance will allow construction of an
addition onto the existing garage. The applicant requested a variance
to Section 328 (Lot Coverage--65% of the lot is to be left in open space
free from structures, applicant is proposing 59% be left in open space)
and Section 314 (accessory buildings are not to cover over 50% of the
width of the rear yard).
This variance approval is not a permit for construction. The applicant
is required to obtain a building construction permit through the usual
procedures.
This letter is a requirement of Section 1308.5 of the Zoning Ordinance
and the application which states that you will be notified upon aoproval
of the requested variance. If you have any objections to the granting of
this variance, you may appeal the decision by written notice to the
Secretary of the Planning Commission, 239 4th Street, Bremerton, WA 98310
within ten days of the date of this letter. A fee of $30.00 is required
for filing an appeal.

APPLICATION FOR ADMINISTRATIVE VARIANCE
The Administrative Variance process allows the Planning Director to consider
applications of variances to the yard setbacks, lot coverage, fence height and
parking requirements of the Residential District portions of the Bremerton Zoning
Code (see Sec. 1308. 1, . 12 and .3 of Ord i nance 1792, as amended).
A fee of $50.00 must accompany this application and in the event that a hear'ing
is required, an additional fee of $25.00 must be submitted prior to the scheduling
of a Planning Commission hearing, if necessary.

INSTRUCTIONS TO ADJOINING PROPERTY OWNERS:
The appl icant (1 ine #1, page 1) must obtain the approval of all adjoining property
owners in order for the Planning Director to administratively (without publ ic
hearing), approve this variance. If all adjoining property owners do not approve
the granting of the variance and so indicate by not signing, the variance will not
be considered further without a public hearing before the Bremerton Planning
Commission. After publ ic hearing the Commission may grant or deny the variance.

to appeal the Planning Director's decision to the Planning Commission.
Section 1308.3 Right of a Hearing Before the Planning Commission provides,
liThe right of a hearing and appeal to the Planning Commission shall remain to any
aggrieved party who wishes to object to the denial or approval of an Administrative
Variance in writing to the Secretary of the Planning Commission.11

INSPECTION - Reinforcing steel must be inspected after placing and before covering. FORMS shall be inspected
and approved before pouring. All plumbing, wiring and the frame of all buildings must be inspected and approved
befo,re covering. Wood preservative to be used on all wood against masonry. Ventilate fo,undation and attic. Sepa-
