SUMMARY: The Seattle Outboard Association (SOA) has dnce again applied to the City of

Bremerton for permission to hold the 2006 Kitsap HydroFest, a'hydroplane/runabout race, on May 20
and 21,2006, on Kitsap Lake. This event is part of the 58th Annual Armed Forces Festival and their
fourth annul event on Kitsap Lake. The previous events were deemed successes and no significant
incidents associated with this event have been reported.
The organizers are expected to satisfactorily comply with the 2006 requirements set forth by the
Police, Fire, Risk Manager and Parks & Recreation Departments.
