SUMMARY: During the 2006 budget review process, salary adjustments were proposed for certain
management and professional employee positions. City Council requested a more comprehensive
review of the positions and salaries. That review is expected to conclude later this year. The
proposed resolution provides for retroactive application of salary adjustments authorized by City
Council as a result of the review.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Final financial effect will be determined upon
conclusion of the review process. Sufficient funds are included in the 2006 budget for the previous
salary review process recommendation, however, the conclusions of the current review process may
be different.
