SUMMARY: The 2006 Lodging Tax Advisory Committee recommended to City Council that the
Kitsap Peninsula ViSitor and Convention Bureau (VCB) be awarded $31,000 for FY2006 for
marketing and promoting tourism within the City ofBremerton. Subsequently, the Council approved
this level of funding for the VCB in the FY2006 budget. This proposed agreement commemorates
this compensation level as well as stipulates a definitive ~cope of Services including specific support
the VCB will lend to two agencies that were not awarded Lodging Tax funding this year, the Kitsap
County Historical Museum and the Bremerton Historic Ships Association.
