SUMMARY: The 2006 Lodging TaX Advisory Committee recommended to City Council that the
Bremerton Area Chamber of Commerce (the'Chamber)'be awarded $42,000. for FY200() for
marketing and promoting ,tourism within the City ofBremerton: Subsequently, the Council approved
this level of funding for the Chamber in the FY2006 budget. This propoSed agreement
commemorates this cOl1lpensation level as well as stipulates a definitive, Sco~ of Services including
specific ~ppot:t the Chamber will lend to two agencies that were not awarded Lodging Tax funding
this ,year, the Kitsap County Historical Museum and the Bremerton Historic Ships Association. -
