SUMMARY: The proposed purchase and sale agreement relates to the acquisition of 1.5 acres of,
land adjacent to Evergreen Park from Chevron USA Inc. The purchase price is $100.00. The City
shall assume environmental responsibilities relating to identified hazardous substances located at, on
and/or under the property as outlined in the Agreement.

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve tile Purchase and Sale Agreement between the
City of Bremerton and Chevron USA Inc. for the purchase of 1.5 acres ofland adjacent to Evergreen
Park and authorize the Mayor to exeCute the Agreement in substantially the same form as presented
and further authorize the Mayor to execute all documents necessary for closing the transaction.
